You are entitled to an HST rebate on new construction condo, town home, duplex or detached home of up to $30,000.
CRA has HST rebate programs that provides a rebate on part of the GST/HST paid on the construction, up to $24,000.
If you have not received a rebate, you need to act soon. After 2 years it is too late!
If you paid additional HST on closing then you are entitled to a rebate of most if not all the HST paid, up to $30,000.
NHR provides a rebate on part of the GST/HST paid on the construction or purchase of a newly constructed or substantially renovated house used as a “primary place of residence” or rental property.
NRRP is for investor/purchasers of newly constructed properties. If you paid additional HST on closing then you are entitled to a rebate of most if not all the HST paid.
